Farleigh Golf Club Wedding Venue Surrey - Claire and Ed

Farleigh Golf Club Wedding Venue Surrey

Today I am taking you to Farleigh Golf Club Wedding Venue Surrey to celebrate the marriage of Claire and Ed. I always feel so honoured to be a part of a wedding but I love it when I am photographing another member of the family. I have photographed lots of special moments for Claire’s sister Katie and here I was again being part of another wonderful event, it really is so special and I am a little humbled they want little old me 🙂

The day started at Claire and Ed’s house, there was fun, laughter and very chilled atmosphere when we arrived along with two excited little boys who were being very well behaved. Once Claire was ready we zipped off to Farleigh Golf Club wedding venue Surrey to see what the boys were up to and capture some of the atmosphere before the day got into full swing. Ed is from New Zealand so his family had travelled a long way to celebrate with them.

The service was just lovely, Claire was beaming and they were both so happy to be getting married I just couldn’t help continually grinning behind the camera; their happiness was infectious. Their marriage really did complete things for them after birth of their little boy the previous year. The weather was being kind to us so after the ceremony we popped outside to grab some group shots and I then left Claire, Ed and Alex to relax with their guests as I captured their reception room.

It’s great at Farleigh as you have a dedicated person who takes you to various spots in and around the golf course, which does mean you get to explore more than I usually do a golf club wedding venues. I had my own buggy, which I drove gingerly to be honest but it was great fun whizzing along and exploring this beautiful venue.

We all enjoyed the Bride and Groom portraiture but all good things have to come to an end and we headed back for Claire and Ed to spend some more time with their guests before sitting down to their first meal as a married couple and to celebrate with their gorgeous little man.

Once they were all settled we headed home from Farleigh Golf Club wedding venue Surrey for a nice cup of tea.

This weather is a little chilly so I hope the images cheer you up a bit today.

Have a great week folks.

Love Claire : )

Westerham Golf Club Wedding Venue

Westerham Golf Club Wedding Venue

Well Hello Folks,

Westerham Golf Club wedding venue is very pretty and the perfect place for Ann and Brian to celebrate their marriage. The attention to detail was really lovely; Ann and Brian’s hard work really paid off when it was all put together on the day. I particularly liked the references to steam trains, which Brian loves.

I was lucky enough to be the photographer at Brian’s Nephew’s wedding and it was lovely to be asked by Ann and Brian to photograph their wedding too. Their story is such a lovely one and to be a part of their wedding day was wonderful. The day itself was hot and sultry so the air conditioning at Westerham Golf Club wedding venue was very welcome indeed!!

Ann and Brian were married at Brian’s local church in Seal and we were blessed with the most glorious field behind so it was a must to capture some images there after the service. Once at the venue the golf carts were on hand to get some lovely images on the golf course. The staff at Westerham Golf Club wedding venue were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

In the evening we had more fun around the lake with lots of interaction from family and friends that really added to the atmosphere of the day. I do love a bit of silliness and there was no shortage of silliness, laughter and general mucking about.

It is so lovely to go to weddings and meet up with everyone again, it makes me love <>my job even more.

Anyway here are a few images of the day; Ann and Brian thank you for being so much fun and the song you chose for your first dance brought tears to my eyes. You two do have all the time in the world and you deserve every happiness that comes your way.

Claire 🙂

Weddings in Surrey at the Chalk Lane Hotel in Epsom - Lindsey and Dave

Good Afternoon Folks,

Weddings in Surrey that are beautiful and intimate at The Chalk Lane Hotel in Epsom surrey and today and our lovely couple is Lindsey and Dave.

Lindsey and Dave were looking for a very specific coverage to suit the intimate style of their wedding and all the plans for this were put into place at our meeting at the hotel itself. Chalk Lane Hotel is literally a stone’s throw from Epsom’s race course and on our wanderings we found a stable that was perfect for the day. On the wedding day itself the ladies at the stable were so accommodating and we were allowed to take some photographs there. Lindsey had a challenger to Dave’s affections…it was none other than Peaches the horse who took an instant liking to Dave and wouldn’t leave him alone. She even did her best to scupper the kissing shots, it was hilarious!!

The day was a very relaxed mixture of documentary, group shots and portraiture, which really reflected the type of wedding they were having. Before we knew it the time had come for all the guests to take their seats for the private dining. It was marvellous because there were so many choices on offer it really added to the intimate nature of the wedding.

Lindsey and Dave jetted off to their honeymoon that night, which was a wonderful end to the most relaxed and magical day.

Spring seems to be springing and I don’t know about you but I am really looking forward to the landscape bursting into life after its long winter slumbers.

Have a happy day all,

Claire 🙂
