About Me: A Photographer with a Touch of Humour

Hello there, lovely people! I thought it would be a great idea for you to get to know the person who’ll be capturing your heartwarming moments. So, here’s a little about me; I grew up in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and had a career in The City, where I met my husband. Although photography has always played a significant role in my life, I eventually decided to ditch the suit and tie for a camera and a dream, and et voilà, Woodland Hill Photography came to life.

My journey so far has been a rollercoaster ride of incredible experiences and hair-twiddling madness. Speaking of hair, I’m grateful I still have it, despite the countless knots I’ve created in moments of artistic frustration. And the cherry on top? I’ve earned quite a few qualifications to back up my passion.

Qualifications: The Proof Is in the Pudding

I take pride in my achievements. I’m a qualified Associate member of the British Institute of Professional Photography, a qualified member of the Master Photographers Association, and I have my Associateship with the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. And that’s not all! I’m a Craftsman of the Guild of Photographers and a member of Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI).

Now, you might think I’m a bit of a qualification junkie – and you’re not entirely wrong. My City career taught me the value of proper training and continuous self-improvement.

Mentor: A Guiding Light

Thanks to my fantastic mentor, I’ve come a long way in this wild world of photography. But let’s face it, with photography, you never really “arrive.” I’m always excited to make new discoveries and capture the unique beauty that each of you brings to the table.

Portrait Photography: Bringing Out the Best in You

In 2023, I’m focusing on portrait photography, from portraits to professional headshots. As the official photographer for Emma Tindley Couture, Designer of the Year, I know a thing or two about bringing out the best in people.
