Hi, I’m Claire founder of Woodland Hill Photography, a family, children and pet photography studio based in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

I believe everyone, whether human or furry, young or grown, deserves to be seen, celebrated and valued for who they truly are. That belief is at the heart of everything I do and that’s how Woodland Hill Photography was born!

Whether you’re opting for an immersive Wizard School experience, a heartfelt Mother & Daughter experience, a joyful Pawtraits portrait with your furbaby, marking a milestone with a First Birthday Cake Smash & Splash or the quiet strength of a professional headshot; each moment is crafted to reflect your story.

How I Help You

From the very first conversation, I want you to feel that this is a safe place to talk openly about what matters most to you; your family, your hopes, your worries and the love you want to see reflected in your home. Nothing here is rushed; you’ll never be pushed or sold to. I give people time to breathe, to think and to feel ready. Because for me, this work has never been about transactions; it’s about truth, dignity and connection.

Why I Do What I Do

As a child, I loved to imagine – to step into stories and become someone new. That same sense of wonder lives on today in every Wizard School experience, where children discover confidence through imagination and parents get to see the spark that makes their child unique. It’s also what guides me when I create Pawtrait family artwork, helping fur-baby parents proudly celebrate the love that others sometimes don’t understand.

I care deeply about fairness and honesty; these are the values that guide every step of how I work. Whether I’m helping a mother and daughter celebrate their unbreakable bond, a family mark their baby’s first year or an actor step confidently into a new chapter, my goal is always the same; to help people see their worth and feel proud of their story.

How I Bring Your Story to Life

The experiences we create together end with heirloom artwork – Wall Art Collections, Treasure Boxes or Signature Albums; each one complete with its own Quantum Card, so you can keep your loved ones with you always and share your story wherever you go.
