Richmond Creative Events

I do love to chat and get to know companies that have the same ethos as me, so getting to know the team at Richmond Creative Events has been a boon. They describe themselves as a boutique and by being such they can offer outstanding customer care and a personal service that you just won’t get with some of the larger caterers and events teams out there at the moment.

Your wedding is a special event and extremely personal to you so your chosen suppliers should want to invest in your day, Richmond Creative Events does this and more. Their talented chefs create delicious dishes that will complement their exceptional wines. As suppliers, we all attend many weddings a year but boutique suppliers recognise that every wedding is individual and reflects the couple so the food should be no different and Richmond Creative Events talented chefs make sure that everything matches your tastes that makes your wedding just like you…individual.

I don’t think you will find many caterers that are happy to organise theming, table dressing, flowers and even entertainment. They have a talented team of wedding planners who will be with you every step of the way to make sure you have the best day ever and that level of personal service can be hard to find today. That trust and relationship that you have built with your wedding planner means you will have a friendly and familiar face from your first call until the day itself where they can ensure you have the wedding of your dreams knowing that’s another job well done :)

Richmond Creative Events s will travel so if you are having a marquee wedding in the country this will not be a problem for them. The other bonus for anyone working in London is they are conveniently placed for meetings and tastings so easy to fit into a busy life.

They are one of the recommended caterers for Kew Gardens and Wakehurst Place along with a host of other amazing wedding venues so if you are planning a wedding at one of these lovely venues you will be in good hands with Richmond Caterers.

We had great fun at the Wakehurst Place wedding fayre and my diet definitely went out of the window that day!!!

Have a great week everyone and if you are planning a wedding and need caterers just click on the link and get in touch with Richmond Creative Events 

Flowserve Annual Party - Effingham Park Hotel: West Sussex Event Photography

Good Morning Everyone,

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing the annual Flowserve Party at the Effingham Park Hotel and what an amazing event that was. Reveries had dressed the room beautifully in a circus theme and it literally took my breath away when I first walked in; the attention to detail was just amazing. During the evening the guests were entertained with a magician, jugglers, fireaters, plate spinners and to round everything off a spectacular routine by one very talented trapeze artist. I had great fun taking lots of pictures of the guests too.

The imagery here today is of the room by Reveries, the jugglers doing a wonderful routine in very, very low light and the grande finale, which was the trapeze artist, so I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Happy Friday to you all and have a lovely weekend. For me I have another pre-wedding shoot and then I am going to treat myself to a day off. Incidentally if you are looking for an alternative to what used to be cameras on the table, then try out Coco Photo Booths. It is enormous fun and I stumbled across it yesterday and had a really funny five minutes in the taxi taking silly photos :)

Paul G Smith Installation Luncheon - The London Guild of Toastamsters

Good Morning,

Yesterday we attended the installation luncheon for the London Guild of Toastmasters. Paul G Smith who I think is the best Toastmaster ever is now the President of the London Guild of Toastmasters, and it was a real honour to be present as he was installed in his new position.

We had an amazing lunch at the Kingswood Golf and Country Club and it was lovely to see everything looking so festive. After the lunch there were some very good speeches; and of course they would be. I did feel very sorry for the Toastmaster who is now the vice president having to be the official Toastmaster at an event of Toastmasters; now that's pressure!

There was an excellent raffle and all proceeds went to Hounds for Heros, which is a very worthy cause, some of the stories told brought tears to my eyes. Over £1,000.00 was raised in total and I won a spa day for two at Alexander House, how fabulous!

The day did not end there as it was rounded off with some carol singing, I had to cajole but I managed to get our table to animate the 12 days of Christmas. They were unsure but where we lead others merely followed and not before long the whole room was involved; so I consider that one a personal success.

I have also had a honour bestowed upon me as I will be photographing Paul in his official uniform with the President's chain. Looking forward to it too.

Thank you all for a fantastic afternoon and here's to a successful Presidency Paul.

Ladies' Night at Dale Hill Hotel and Golf Club: Sussex Event Photography

Good Afternoon,

I recently attended a Ladies' Night at Dale Hill Hotel and Golf Club. It was really lovely to see so many lovely ladies in the most beautiful dresses and you were all a pleasure to photograph. It really reminds me of James Bond seeing a tuxedo and a glamorous dress. I also had some wonderful chats as well!

I enjoyed having a a few days off, especially over the weekend, which is a rarity in my industry and the weather was a real bonus too.

Enjoy the week everyone,

Claire
