I'm Back!!

Good Evening Folks,

Just a little catch up blog, firstly to apologise for the tumbleweed rolling across the page and to say hello I am back after a very hectic few weeks. I have been involved in a large shoot with various other bits and bobs for Sunny Nersian as well as helping Emma Tindley to prepare for her 2015 collection launch. We spent last week in London and the new collection went down an absolute storm.

I have also been doing pre-wedding shoots, studio work for my brilliant clients, so a busy old time and my poor blog has suffered!

Today I am posting a few highlights from last week in a little slideshow and an image with the stunning new tags Emma and Jill created for the new collection.

Have a happy evening and if Natalie and Darren are reading this, your blog will be up tomorrow.

Good Morning Folks,

Today's blog is a little different and to be honest I am still in a bit of shock! This weekend I was at Brides the Show hosted by the Condé de Nast magazine Brides with Emma Tindley. Having completed the 2014 collection shoot last Monday it was a race to edit a prepare a few images for release at the show on Friday.

We were up at the crack on dawn on Friday morning to make the trip to London and prepare the stand for the grand opening and VIP evening. We were so pleased to be opposite the wonderful Maids to Measure and there was much hilarity during the day; everything was finished by about 3.30 pm and we then headed off to our hotel to have a quick chat, change to be back in time for the grand opening. Emma was very sleek in a black dress with sparkles, wonderful 'hair-do' and tiara. I opted for a cheeky little pink Tindley number that fitted perfectly with the stand theme. The evening was a great success with lots of press interest but nothing could prepare us for what was to come.

The buses were arriving from Sloane Square early and there were queues of people waiting for the doors to open. We were absolutely mobbed all day and the crowds became overwhelming after each catwalk show. We literally could not believe what we were witnessing, in the end we had to implement an appointment system so that everyone could witness a bit of the Tindley exclusivity! Emma and I arrived on the stand just before 10.00 am and we did not leave the stand at all until 5.10 pm; I can be so precise because that was the first time all day I was able to visit the 'powder room'. Amanda was a godsend and she was there to chat and keep an element of crowd control, and folks I am really not exaggerating here!

There were so many highlights of the day and to see the many beautiful brides at the moment they have found the 'one' is something I could never tire of. The London catwalk was awe inspiring, and from the images I am posting today I think you will agree. I was also able to have a peek behind the scenes and wow this was the most amazing set up.

So I will leave you today with a few images of Emma's stand and her Eleanor dress swishing down that glamorous London catwalk!

Look out later in the week for part two of Rachael and Patrick at Swallows Oast.

Emma Tindley at the White Gallery London

Good Morning Folks,

It has been a whirlwind of a couple of days as I have been with Emma Tindley at the launch of her 2014 collection at the White Gallery London. I joined the team on Monday and Tuesday and it was great to catch up with Jill and Pips our model. The venue was fabulous and Emma's area looked amazing; the aromas that were wafting in our white gallery boutique were sublime; anyone who wandered by couldn't resist popping in for a sniff! Only the finest in bridal design are able to exhibit at this prestigious event and it was great to be amongst so much talent with some very famous names in the industry.

I was taking some shots during the event and we all loved chatting to the magazines and potential new stockists, so much so I think Emma may have been losing her voice as we headed home yesterday; anyway here is a short slideshow to show you what it was all about and the music I have used is a homage to the Gastby'esque trend that was a major part of the show.

It is now that the planning for the official 2014 collection shoot starts in earnest; what do we have up our sleeves I wonder ;)

Emma Tindley Couture at Wakehurst Place, Ardingly - Shakespeare in Love Collection: West Sussex Wedding and Fashion Photographers

Good Evening Folks,

Something a little different this evening, a slideshow that showcases the wonderfully, brilliant and talented Emma Tindley who designs right here in East Grinstead. I am very happy to say that I am the official photographer for Emma Tindley and wow do I love photographing her creations, they are truly a work of art.

Emma studied at the London College of Fashion and what she doesn't know about the female form is not worth knowing. All her designs have this amazing corsetry that gives a beautiful shape to any woman and this comes from her extensive knowledge of period corsetry that she has adapted and moulded into her collections.

When you visit Emma you are talking to the designer herself not just a supplier of dresses and you are talking to the expert, not someone who just sells dresses without any real knowledge of their construction.

Have a look at the slideshow, better still visit her beautiful boutique in our very own East Grinstead and you will never buy off the peg again!

Enjoy the evening folks,
