Here are some of the most asked, most felt questions — and the answers that just might make you say, “Yes, this feels right.”

❓What will the experience feel like?

Expect warmth, calm, and kindness. My sessions are never rushed, never cookie-cutter, and never about saying “cheese.”

Whether we’re in the studio or out in nature, the focus is always on you — your story, your pace, your people (or pup). For little ones and dogs, we let the magic unfold gently. For grown-ups, we hold space for confidence to grow and stories to emerge.

People often tell me they were nervous beforehand… and then surprised by how relaxed they felt.

❓What kind of photography do you offer now?

While I began my career in weddings, my heart now lies in portrait-led experiences. These include:

• Pet & family pawtraits

• First birthday celebrations (cake smash, bath splash, and gentle portraits)

• Mother-daughter connection sessions

• Wizard School experiences for imaginative children

• Headshots for creatives and professionals

Each session is bespoke, thoughtful, and rooted in storytelling.

Do I need to be confident in front of the camera?

Not at all. Most of my clients aren’t.

But here’s the lovely thing: it’s not your job to be confident — it’s mine to help you feel at ease. Whether you’re booking for yourself, your child, or your beloved dog, I create space where you can relax, be yourself, and forget the camera is even there.

❓What makes your work different?

My clients often say, “This was more than just a photo shoot.” And that’s exactly what I aim for.

It’s about capturing who you really are — the relationships that matter, the in-between glances, the genuine emotion. I’m not here to stage your life. I’m here to honour it.

❓Will I see examples of your real work?

These aren’t styled shoots or stock moments. Every photograph on this website comes from real people, real stories, and real connections — captured with care, just as they unfolded.

If it feels personal, it’s because it was.

❓Are you qualified and insured?

Yes, absolutely. I’m an accredited and qualified member of several professional organisations, including:

• British Institute of Professional Photography (ABIPP)

• Master Photographers Association (LMPA)

• Guild of Photographers (Craftsman level)

I’m fully insured for public liability, professional indemnity, and employer’s liability. Your safety, trust and peace of mind are non-negotiable.

❓How far in advance should I book?

For signature sessions (like cake smashes and custom portraits), We’ll find the perfect date for you but I recommend getting in touch sooner rather than later so we can plan.

Some seasonal experiences do book out quickly — especially Wizard School — so if you’re even thinking about one, keep an eye on your e-mails and my socials so you can register your interest as soon as the dates are released.

❓Do you still photograph weddings?

While I no longer take on full-day wedding commissions, I do still love photographing small, heartfelt celebrations that need just a few hours of coverage.
